The first Halifax Stone Carving Festival will have Stone carvers showcasing their skills over two days. The event will be held in the grounds of the Minster. There will be live music, food and drink available with entertainment throughout the two days.
On the second day there will be an auction of all the finished carvings.
This event is free to the public and any money raised will be split between the Minster and the The West Riding Stonecarving Association.
