All Souls Church is open on the 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st September from 10am – 4pm as part of the Halifax Heritage Festival.
Step into a world of architectural brilliance and historical significance at All Soul’s Church, a Grade I listed building.
Commissioned by local industrialist Edward Akroyd and completed in 1859, this magnificent gothic church was designed by the world-renowned architect Sir Gilbert Scott, who considered it his “best church”. If you visit – you’ll find out why!
Please note: Be aware of uneven paving in the grounds of the church, which can be slippery, especially when wet.
