Halifax Armed Forces Day 29th June – taking place on the town centre precinct
A fun day our for all the family!
The event starts around 9am, with an official opening by the Mayor of Halifax and Holly lynch MP at 11am outside the barriers near McDonald’s.
The event will commemorate all armed services past and present. The day will include:
- Various military vehicles ranging from WW2 up to present day
- The Parachute Regiment display
- A medical tent and Halifax Veterans field kitchen display
- WW1 and WW2 reenactments teams
- Various stalls, a 40s singer in the market and a 40s DJ outside
There will be representatives from the armed forces there, so come along and find out more about military life, past and present.
