SUMMARY:Halifax Antiquarian Society Open Day
DESCRIPTION:10.30am- 3pm \nHalifax Antiquarian Society’s Library will be open for any Anne Lister or other fans who wish to visit  (maximum 15 in room at a time). \nHalifax Antiquarian Society is the senior local history group in Calderdale. Founded in 1900\, its first President was John Lister of Shibden Hall. \nOur published articles about the area’s history are invaluable as a research resource. \nLibrarian Mike Brook and assistant Janet Ashton will be on duty to chat about the Society  and explain how to become a member. \nThe Library is situated on the second floor of Halifax Central Library\, Square Road\, accessed through signed double doors. \nPart of the Anne Lister Birthday Festival 2022. \nFREE entry.
