DESCRIPTION:7.30pm \n\nThe Real King Arthur: A Sixth Century North British Hero \n\nThe Arthur of legend can be revealed as the Arthur of fact. Analysis shows him as a North British warrior (not a king) who fought during the terrible “volcanic winter” of 536-7\, and was killed in 537 at Castlesteads\, near Carlisle. After centuries\, the book can today be closed on one of Britain’s greatest historical mysteries. \nMeetings are held in the Halifax Room\, Calderdale Industrial Museum\, Square Road\, Halifax HX1 1Q \n  \nAdmission \nNon-member attendees are welcome\, they are asked to contribute a donation of £3.00 per lecture. \nPlease enquire about becoming a member! \n\n\n  \n\nAccessibility Information; \n\nAccess is to the side of the Museum via our newly-installed ramp and stairs.\nInternally there are stairs and a lift to all floors.\nDisabled Parking is available by prior request.\n\n
