The Real King Arthur: A Sixth Century North British Hero
The Arthur of legend can be revealed as the Arthur of fact. Analysis shows him as a North British warrior (not a king) who fought during the terrible “volcanic winter” of 536-7, and was killed in 537 at Castlesteads, near Carlisle. After centuries, the book can today be closed on one of Britain’s greatest historical mysteries.
