Tunde Baiyewu (the voice of the Lighthouse Family), Deniece Williams, Alexander O’Neal, Gwen Dickey (the voice of Rose Royce), Jaki Graham, Janet Kay and Candace Woodson.
Giants of Soul will feature some of the most successful and iconic, original soul performers from the late 70’s through to the modern day. Collectively our artists boast over 5 million followers on Spotify, with 18 UK top ten hits and 47 top forty hits.
Award winning Angie Greaves from Smooth Radio is your host for the evening.
Tunde Baiyewu, the voice of The Lighthouse Family has sold over 15 million albums and had multiple hit singles, including Ocean Drive and High.
Deniece Williams is a four-time Grammy winner with popular hit Free and Let’s Hear it For the Boy.
Gwen Dickey, the voice of Rose Royce has nine UK top forty songs including the Grammy award winning Car Wash and chart busters Love Don’t Live Here Anymore, Wishing on a Star and I Wanna Get Next to You.
Alexander O’Neal has fourteen UK top 40 songs including Criticize, If You Were Here Tonight and Saturday Love.
Jaki Graham has six UK top 40 songs including Could It Be I’m Falling in Love, Round and Around, and Set Me Free.

Wheelchair access
Following recent improvements to the stalls seating area, we now offer easier access and better viewing locations for wheelchair users. So you can be assured of a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we have level access to the stalls from Commercial Street and provide two accessible toilets on the stalls level.
Hearing Impaired
The Victoria Theatre has an induction loop for hearing aid users in the auditorium and Box Office.
Additionally the Victoria Theatre now offers an infra-red audio system allowing customers in the Stalls and The Circle and to individually adjust the volume of the performance.
Visual Impairments
We now offer versions of our seasonal brochure in large print. Please contact the box office to request copies to be sent to you.
Guide dogs are welcome and we will be pleased to provide a bowl of water on request.
