Friday Night Live @ Square Chapel is a platform for emerging and local musicians to showcase their talents.
Craig Fee – Craig Fee’s words and music have probably been described most accurately by blogger ‘Girl Afraid’ as ‘heart-breaking and brave’ due to his music being heavily centred around his emotional lyrics which are ‘very personal and nothing but sincere’. Taking influence from artists such as Conor Oberst, City and Colour and The Felice Brothers. Craig has a simplistic musical style that creates space and an uncomplicated backdrop for his heartfelt words. Alongside writing and playing for a number of bands over the years that have played a string of high profile venues, live sessions on BBC Introducing.
Megan Hardaker – is a local singer with a golden voice. Drawing inspiration from the like of Joni Mitchell and Julia Jacklin she puts her own acoustic twist on classics as well as showcasing her own music producing pure ear candy.
Ella Playford – is a well-established versatile musician from West Yorkshire. Her impeccable songwriting skills combine with a powerful voice and intricate guitar lines to create compositions which are pleasing to the ear and leave the listener wanting more.
