Friday Night Live @ Square Chapel –is a platform for emerging and local musicians to showcase their talents.
Ian Bareham – is an indie-folk singer-songwriter based up the hill in the Queensbury. Ian delivers intimate live performances that draw audiences in with the thump of his old suitcase kick drum and the luscious tones of his mahogany guitar.
Inspired by the likes of Glen Hansard, Vance Joy and Damien Rice, Ian’s honest voice and emotive guitar lines power achingly beautiful and vulnerable songs of love and loss.
Echo Beach – don’t shy away from catchy riffs and classic grooves that stick in your head for days. The classic combination of piano (Ryan Bond), guitar and vocals (Matt Hanson) reinforced by one of the grooviest rhythm sections around (Danny Pash and Eryk Zimmer) take you someplace fun.
They have supported acts such as The Big Pink during their Summer 2022 UK tour, recently played a sold out show at Manchester Academy 3 and worked with some of the most prolific booking agencies in the North West and in London. Following their recent single releases: ‘Control Yourself’ and ‘Lost My Head’ – the band received national radio support with Radio X’s John Kennedy, BBC Introducing and a regular feature on XS Manchester with Jim Salveson & Shell Zenner
“Soaring indie/electro anthems with vocals somewhere between Morissey and Tom Smith… its awesome stuff!” – Jim Salveson, XS Manchester
Plastic Heart – are an alt/indie female-fronted band from the outskirts of Manchester. Members include Liv Alara on the bass, Loz Riley on drums, Jason Shenton on rhythm guitar, Zak Hadfield on lead guitar and Naomi Schofield on vocals. And the band are managed by Sam Gosling of Stylish Riot.
Influenced by bands such as Wolf Alice, Paramore and the Cranberries, Plastic Heart aspires to make an impact on the Manchester music scene with their catchy riffs, thunderous drums and breath-taking vocals.
The band love to put on a show, with a great band dynamic each member feeding off the energy on stage, Plastic Heart do not disappoint live.
