Neev – Originally from Glasgow, singer-songwriter Neev writes beautiful songs that stay with you.

Whilst her lyrics set out on broad themes – relationships, existential angst, quarter-life-crises – Neev has a remarkable knack for discovering beauty in the small details.

Her EP ‘Currants’ was released on Trapped Animal in 2021. Tracks from Currants have been played on BBC 6 Music, BBC Intro Scotland and most recently BBC Radio 1 on Sian Eleri’s Chillest Show and Power Down Playlist. Neev performed tracks from Currants live and televised for the BBC Introducing x Celtic Connections Showcase at Saint Luke’s in Glasgow in January 2022.

Neev has spent 2022 embarking on her biggest projects yet, the first release from this project, ‘Seawall’, was released in September and recieved support from the likes of Earmilk, Backseat Mafia, Sian Eleri & Roddy Hart.

“A woman with unrivaled passion for her craft” – The Soundsniffer

“Neev’s talent for unearthing beauty in the finer details in life makes her a stand-out artist” – 1883 Magazine

“Neev showcases her delicate touch and effortless ability to create beautiful, warming folk soundscapes” – Backseat Mafia

“Such a delicate and well-crafted sound… [Currants] has five absolutely stunning tracks… You can really feel the purity and the emotion throughout the EP.” – BBC Intro Scotland

“Atmospheric.” – Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music

“I just adore her voice.” – Sian Eleri, BBC Radio 1

Teah – is a cut above the rest in the singer-songwriter space today (Michael Sanford, Pink Wafer)
Teah spent 2021 releasing 4 new singles, her July 2021 track ‘Magnolia’ was selected in Christian Carlisle’s top 50 songs of the year for BBC Introducing Sheffield. 2022 has seen performances at Tramlines Festival, Long Division and Live at Leeds. On Friday 12th August she supported Richard Hawley at his sold out Leadmill Residency.

“I don’t know what particular magic or witchcraft happened when you came together, but you have created something truly beautiful” – Christian Carlisle, BBC Introducing on ‘Magnolia’

In 2022, she started with a bang setting off on her co-headline February Big Adventure Tour visiting London, Sofar Sounds Hull, Sheffield, Liverpool Bloom building and The Bunker, Sunderland.

She also performed at Sheffield Cathedral on behalf of Sheffield Adventure Film Festival as well as headlining Dorothy Pax with new project ‘Magnolia Sessions’.

In February 2023. she will release her debut EP ‘Hold’. Singles ‘Building a Home’ and ‘Anymore’ are both singles from this body of work and available online now. Teah is continuing to explore and expand her sound, so expect to hear multi-layered vocals and electronic textures supported by a line up of exciting collaborators in both live and recorded work.

Before Breakfast – explore feminist issues through the telling of personal stories – fusing their classical knowledge and rich arrangements with raw expression. Gina and Lucy’s music has always been beautiful, though is often layered with feminine discomfort. An uneasy web of harmonies and relentless piano, intricate cello and expressively haunting vocals run through their back catalogue and feature on their debut album I Could Be Asleep If It Weren’t For You – Released January 28th 2022.

The four-piece have toured with gold certified Sony artist Tokio Myers and Mercury Prize nominated Bella Union artist C. Duncan, performing at venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire, Manchester Albert Hall, The Sage, Scala, Band On the Wall, Thekla and The Rescue Rooms.

“Alt-folk with some deeply personal lyricism, words that touch on personal independence, feminism, and more.” – CLASH
