Farm Tours at Old Chamber Farm & Camping

This special Calderdale Festival of Food event offers a chance to get up close to a working farm and learn how regenerative, nature-friendly farming can support wildlife, local food production and the landscape we all enjoy. Take part in a short farm tour and hear how the farm works with nature, including innovative flood management projects that help reduce flooding in Hebden Bridge and communities further down the valley.

Feeling hungry? Visit the catering trailer for a taste of Calderdale, with dishes including lamb curry made using Old Chamber Farm lamb, hot dogs featuring sausages from Holdsworth Meats in West Vale, and a vegan vegetable curry made largely from locally grown produce.

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet local beekeepers, enjoy the peaceful countryside and soak up some of the best views in Calderdale.
