1pm- 3pm
Join watercolour artist Jane Austin for a workshop to learn how to draw animals through shade with lost and found outlines. The way that light passes over an animal can describe their bone structure through shadows, once simplified in a drawing this can allow the eye of the observer to complete the unseen outlines.
Jane Austin has been a professional artist for 25 years. Her work has been exhibited nationally and locally, with many solo exhibitions at All Souls’ Church. Her work can be seen currently at Bankfield Museum, Shibden Hall, the Halifax Minster, Dean Clough and the Piece Hall.
Paper, brushes, pencils, and paint/ink will be provided as well as source material.
