Creative Knitting Workshop

Join Kate Buller, bestselling author of ‘The Knitters Bible’ and ‘Style your own Kid Knits’ to develop your knitting skills and make new friends. Learn how to make a bobble heart, a 3D flower, cable heart and lace border through the making of a cushion or baby blanket.

The workshop is designed for intermediate knitters want to further their skill level. You will be given 3 inspirational mood boards to choose your colourway for your cushion or baby blanket or design your own colourway.

You will be asked to bring the yarn to make your item
• Each week you will be shown a different technique from cabling, lace and the making a bobble and 3D flower
• Throughout the 2-hour workshop you will have completed a square using the given technique. You will then be asked to complete more squares in the same way before the next weeks workshop.
• By the 4th week all your squares will have been completed. Week 4 will be dedicated to joining the squares together, adding a border and blocking the blanket.
• By the end of week 4 of the course you will leave with a cushion or a baby blanket made with love to gift to someone very special. You will have learnt new techniques and made new friends.

Workshops will run Thursdays 9th / 16th / 23rd / 30th November 2023 between 11-1pm

Workshops will run at The Wool Hub, Moderna Business Park, Mytholmroyd, HX7 5QQ next to Playtopia. The Wool Hub is a modern space with ample natural light. It is fully accessible with parking, toilet, and kitchen facilities.

Knitters will be asked to sign up for the 4 weeks which will cost £60
