| CANALATHON ULTRA, 100km & 50km Sunday 24th March 2024. The Canalathon Ultra is a power-packed, value-for-money ultrarunning event taking in the beautiful scenery along the Rochdale canal from Yorkshire Sowerby Bridge to Lancashires Manchester. Participants will dig deep and choose from a 100km or 50km distance. Our race powers along the Rochdale Canal from Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire to Manchester in Lancashire then back to Sowerby Bridge passing through historic industrial towns and stunning Pennine landscapes whilst visiting checkpoints on the way. Great for the body and soul. No navigation needed, no hill climbing necessary, just worry about getting from point A to B. There will also be full access to showers, changing rooms, bar and food services. |
