The Brodstock Music Festival is an open-air, family-friendly, party in the park, raising thousands for good causes and creating a great showcase for some of the best grassroots performers in the area. Brodstock is a not-for-profit event run by a bunch of enthusiastic volunteers and takes place every June at the Old Brodleians Rugby Club in Hipperholme.
Almost 6000 converge on Hipperholme’s Woodhead Park to enjoy the very best local bands and performers over two different stage. It’s a glorious family atmosphere as all ages come together to revel in 12 hours of live music. If you’d like to attend, don’t delay when tickets go on sale in March, the last six festivals all sold out as Brodstock has quickly become Calderdale’s biggest annual music event.
Since their first festival in 2014 they have managed to raise over £100,000 for Overgate Hospice and another £50,000 for charities like Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Calderdale MS Group and many more.
Brodstock aims to:

– Create an annual family-friendly day out
– Raise funds and awareness for worthy causes
Tickets for this family-friendly day out are £15 each and free for accompanying under 12s. They go on sale at 10.30am, Saturday 11th March and are only available from the Old Brodleians RUFC – see their website for more details.
