Brighouse Dinosaur Experience and Family Market
Event description
66 million years ago, dinosaurs roamed the earth. Now, with the help of Brighouse BID and Dinosaur Experiences, they’ll be roaming the streets of Brighouse this August!
Join us in Brighouse on Sunday 18th August from 10am -4pm you can come face-to-face with prehistoric pals, shop at craft, food & drink stalls at the Summer Family Market, meet Birds of Prey, enjoy a funfair and visit the town centre’s shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants open on the day.
The Family Market will be open between 10am and 4pm.
The Dinosaur Experience will be running between 10am and 4pm with visits from our pre-historic friends – Roxy the T-Rex, Angie the Ankylosaurus, Thor the Velociraptor & the Baby Dinosaurs – throughout the day.
The Dino Trail will continue to run through the town centre with trail leaflets available from the Brighouse BID Office, Brighouse Books, Cake Maker Shop, Forget Me Not Hospice Shop, Liv’s Bakes & Cake, Simply Flowers & Yorkshire Cat Rescue.
Magic Tom Balloon Modelling will be doing amazing things with balloons between 11am and 3pm.
Angel Falconry will have displays of Birds of Prey up close and personal where visitors can find out more about the amazing animals, hear how they live and what they eat.
We’ll also have a Funfair on Bradford Road with lots of fun and excitement for young and not so young.
FREE event, just turn up (no booking or tickets required).
