Autumn Clay & Enchanted Afternoon Tea

Celebrate the beauty of autumn with a wonderfully creative and indulgent afternoon in Cornholme, Todmorden.

Join ceramic artist Shar of The Clay Academy for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own autumn-inspired ceramic bunting, adorned with charming woodland treasures. Drawing on her 14 years of experience working with clay, Shar will guide you through the making of an enchanting collection of seasonal decorations, including delicate leaves, acorns, mushrooms and other woodland-inspired motifs. Your unique ceramic pieces can then be displayed on a luxurious velvet ribbon, creating a beautiful keepsake to enjoy in your home or garden year after year. Please note, you will need to collect your bunting one week later to allow the ceramics to go in the clay oven.

Partway through your creative session, settle in for a truly magical woodland-themed vegetarian/vegan Afternoon Tea by Rose of Vie en Rose Organic. A seasonal chef and enchanted cake specialist, Rose is renowned for weaving wild-foraged ingredients into her creations and presenting them with artistry and intention. Expect an unforgettable feast of autumn flavours, featuring unusual and intriguing ingredients such as pine, moss and edible flowers. This is far from an ordinary afternoon tea, it’s a celebration of the season’s rich bounty and natural wonder.
