Above Haley Hill: Old Photos of Range Lane, Range Bank, New Bank and Prospect Street

An old photo taken in Halifax town centre, taken form North Bridge and looking up the road called West Bank, with shops on either side of the road.

Event description

2pm – 3.30pm

David Glover will introduce and describe a wide variety of old images from North Bridge and up the hillside above. Included will be many lost dwellings, pubs, businesses and mills, plus vanished Sunnyside School. And of course: St Bernard’s Church and St Joseph’s School years ago.

Tickets are £5 and are available on the door only.
