Ahh, the school summer holidays – a time eagerly awaited by children and often met with mixed emotions by parents. For kids, it’s a period of boundless freedom and fun. For parents, it’s a balancing act of joy and exhaustion. The Dragons of Wainhouse Tower Family Workshops – FREE family workshops at King Cross Library and Wainhouse Tower during the school hols as part of CultureDale celebrations.
Bankfield Museum Childrens’ Activities – Free Childrens Workshops every Tuesday at Bankfield Museum. There will be a mix of history, heritage and art with activities suitable for children to take part in.
Tinker, Make, Create Roadshow (various locations) – A family friendly roadshow event traveling across the borough during the summer holidays, working in partnership with Eureka! and Calderdale Council’s Play Services.
Eureka Summer of Fun – highlights include drumming workshops, science shows, puppet making, circus skills, archery and mountain biking! There is also a relaxed SENDay being held on Sunday 8th September, which will include: lower visitor numbers, a chill out room, ear defenders and more – please book ahead for this.
Victoria Theatre Summer on Stage, including:
Family Silent Disco – Expect the ultimate party experience! You’ll be dancing and singing along to some of your favourite tunes, all while sporting wireless headphones!
Boomchikkaboom Family Rave – Join Booomchikkaboom with the whole family for singing, dancing, parachute mayhem, bubbles and of course the snow machine!
