Then we would love for you to join the very first Calderdale Festival of Food from the 7th – 20th September 2026!

The Calderdale Festival of Food is a two‑week celebration of the people, places and produce that make Calderdale’s food scene so special. The Festival will showcase our rich local food heritage, champion independent businesses, and draw visitors from across Yorkshire and beyond to eat, drink and explore Calderdale.

From hands‑on farm experiences to guided tours and cooking classes, to delicious dishes made with homegrown ingredients, the Festival will provide two whole weeks of eating and exploring, all across Calderdale.

Get involved in a way that suits you

Create a Festival Menu

Tempt festival‑goers with a special Festival dish or menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. You could also create a festival offer which encourages visitors to try your local dish. This could include a special discount, freebie or otherwise – it’s entirely up to you!

Plan your event to run during the Festival

Do you deliver food-related events or activities in Calderdale? Promote your event under the Calderdale Festival of Food brand and be part of a borough-wide celebration of local food & drink! Events may include:

• Guided food or tasting tours
• Cooking classes or demonstrations
• A fine dining or chef‑led experience
• Farm tours, workshops or open days

Shine a spotlight on your business

By taking part, you’ll receive ready‑to‑use digital marketing assets to promote your event/offer using the festival branding. Your business or event will also benefit from:

• A listing on the Calderdale Festival of Food page on Visit Calderdale
• A link through to your website/event page, driving traffic to your site
• Promotion across social media in the lead‑up to the Festival, including a ‘Meet the Maker’ spotlight
