Calderdale Heritage Walk: The North Side of Elland

3rd Mar 2019

Elland goes back to at least 1086, yet in 1760 much of this land was open land. But, in the century which followed, we'll show how the arrival of a canal, railway, new roads, industry and more housing changed things radically.

Meet Ian Philp at 1.30pm by St Mary's Parish Church notice board. HX5 0BW
