Starting 24th Jul 2021 See all Dates for this event

Anne Lister returned forlorn to Shibden in 1832, betrayed by yet one more woman’s marriage plans. Then re-acquaintance with neighbouring heiress Ann Walker changed her life ~ forever. Anne Lister deployed her considerable persuasive powers to enthral and seduce this wealthy young woman ~ all out of sight of prying eyes down in Halifax.

Please note that this walk will start at 11.30.

Guide: Jill Liddington and Steve Crabtree
