Here’s your guide to Bonfires and Firework displays in Calderdale for 2025!

We’ll update this page as we discover more details of any events. Please remember to follow the Firework Code and Stay Safe whilst enjoying bonfires and fireworks.

SATURDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2025

ELLAND ROUND TABLE BONFIRE AND FIREWORK DISPLAY

Alongside the bonfire and main fireworks display, we are delighted to bring back the ‘quiet’ children’s fireworks display for a second year. The ‘quiet’ children’s fireworks display is suitable for anyone who prefers just to see the bright lights in the sky, without the mix of bangs and explosions.

Alongside a mix of food vendors catering to all tastes and dietary requirements, there will be fairground rides, a test-your-strength game and toy stall for the kids, all at pocket money prices.

As our bonfire and fireworks even is the day after Hallowe’en this year, we are encouraging everyone to attend in a spooky costume or outfit, especially the kids. Any child attending in a Hallowe’en outfit will get a special free treat on entry to the event (only whilst limited stocks last!)

6.15pm           Children’s Quiet Fireworks Display

7pm                Main Firework Display

TICKETS

Advance prices of £6 adults, £3 kids (3-16 years), with under 3’s receiving free entry. Family tickets are £18 (covering two adults and up to three children), whilst disabled attendees paying for a ticket will receive a carers entry ticket for free, when selecting the relevant option. The prices are in advance only and will be slightly more on the night for walk-up attendees.

£10 Adults, £7.50  Children (aged under 12), £30 Family tickets (2 adults & 2 children under 12). Ticket prices include a donation to Overgate Hospice

FRIDAY 7TH NOVEMBER

BROD’S BIG BONFIRE 2025

Please note that the Old Brodleian’s website is states that this event has sold out and there is no “pay on the gate” option – anyone arriving without tickets will be turned away.

ALWAYS FOLLOW THE FIREWORK CODE

• Stand well back
• Keep pets indoors
• Keep fireworks in a closed box
• Only buy fireworks that are CE marked
• Light at arm’s length, using a taper
• Follow the instructions on each firework
• Never give sparklers to a child under five
• Don’t drink alcohol if setting off fireworks
• Always supervise children around fireworks
• Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves
• Never put fireworks in your pocket or throw them
• Never go near a firework that has been lit – even if it hasn’t gone off it could still explode
• Stay Safe, be Considerate (let our neighbours know you will be having a display, especially if they are elderly, or they have pets of children) and don’t become  a Nuisance.
