Yorkshire Day Weekend 2021 in Calderdale
Friday 30th July
Laugh your way into the weekend with Dick & Liddy’s Comedy Club at Victoria Theatre, back in its traditional home of the Green Room Bar.
Circus Extreme brings you a brand new death-defying show at Shibden park (runs until Sunday August 1st).
Saturday 31st July
Calderdale Industrial Museum is open on Saturday. Why not combine your visit there with a trip to the Piece Hall, where you’ll find live music from 2.15pm by local artists who are warming up for the Brodstock Festival (taking place on Saturday August 7th). Please note that the Piece Hall closes at 7pm ready for the Our House event with DJ Dale Castell. This sold out event was due to take place at Victoria Theatre but has now moved to the Piece Hall’s beautiful quadrangle. (People with pre-booked tables at the Piece Hall’s bars & restaurants will be able to stay).
Over in Hebden Bridge The Steampunk Weekend returns, with two days of social gathering across the town centre supporting Hebden’s fantastic local businesses.
YORKSHIRE DAY Sunday 1st August
The Piece Hall hosts a Yorkshire Day Celebration with a fun-filled programme of family activities, dancing and live music from home-grown regional artists. The celebratory event also marks The Piece Hall’s fourth anniversary since the venue’s reopening in 2017!
Circus Extreme and the Hebden Bridge Steampunk Festival also continue.
