Friday 20th October
Halifax Comedy Festival is bringing you over 20 acts over nine days in five different venues, starting tonight with Richard Herring - Oh Frig, I'm 50 at Victoria Theatre (8pm), Barbara Nice – Raffle at Arden Road Social Club (8pm) and Swansong at Square Chapel centre for the Arts (7.30pm). Edinburgh Fringe favourite The Thermos Museum comes to The Piece Hall (12.30pm, 3pm 6pm).
Hebden Bridge Dance Festival brings you a traditional Ceilidh and meditation and dance with 5 Rhythms.
Saturday 21st October
There’s a free family fun day to celebrate the relaunch of Todmorden Indoor Market, The market has undergone a £500,000 transformation including new roofing, better insulation, repaired stonework and redecoration of key areas. (From 11am)
Halifax Comedy Festival brings you The Sooty Show at Victoria Theatre (11am & 2.30pm) Sara Pascoe’s brand new show "Ladsladslads" Green Room Bar, Victoria Theatre, (7.30pm & 9pm).
At Hebden Bridge Dance Festival you can enjoy a Morris dance workshop (Town Hall 11am), a 40’s & 50’s Jive Class (Town Hall 1.30pm), MiddleEastern Dance, and more. Here’s a full list of what’s on.

There’s a gathering of ghosts, ghouls and other grisly spirits at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum this Halloween, from today through to 5 November 2017. All blood-curdling activities are included in the price of admission and free to Eureka! Annual Pass holders
