Friday 13th October
Star your weekend with some live music as Dr Feelgood supported by The Revelators play at Arden Road Social Club. Halifax. (Doors 7.30pm On stage 8pm £16)
At Square Chapel Centre for the Arts there’s powerful theatre with the re-telling of a classic myth from the point of view of Medusa. (7.30pm £12) Age advisory 18+: contains adult themes. Also at Square Chapel, Near Gone is a beautiful performance with two performers, delivered in English and Bulgarian, with pounding gypsy-inspired music, hundreds of fresh flowers and a storm of emotion. (7.45pm £12).
The Brighouse Arts Festival also continues through to Sunday 15th October with live music, comedy, poetry and art.

Mytholmroyd Arts Festival returns with a packed two-day programme of events.
Oxjam brings you an all-day music festival at The Moorings, Sowerby Bridge - 12 hours of music, 12 artists (From 12 Noon £5)
The Choristers of Halifax Minster will be joining the Overgate Choir in a French Connection for a performance of Fauré’s Requiem and other choral masterpieces (7pm £12).

The Mytholmroyd Arts Festival continues today.
Celebrate the Bicentenary---YES 200 YEARS of the Halifax Choral Society, with the premiere performance of their bicentenary commission, Phillip Wilby’s new oratorio The Holy Face. The Society has been performing for two centuries without a break – a remarkable cultural milestone. This makes Halifax the oldest Choral Society in continuous performance in the world! (7.30pm £12-£24)
