Saturday 5th August

Join staff from the National Trust, Hardcastle Crags for a 5 mile walk and climb up to the top of the moor above Pecket Well, to be rewarded with the far reaching views across Hardcastle Crags. (10am - approx 2pm)

The Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend returns to Calder Holmes Park in Hebden Bridge. for the weekend. Enjoy a huge display of cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, craft and produce stalls, autojumble, live music, vintage children's rides and more. Different vehicles can be seen on each of the two days. (10am – 5pm)

Halifax Police Station are having an Open Day, with Police, Fire & Ambulance Demonstrations; Station & Cell Block Tours; food stands; vintage police cars; face painting; children's rides and a bouncy castle! (10.30am -3pm)

 There's am Oxjam Buskathon in The Piece Hall, Halifax - live acoustic music from 10.30am - 6pm, free for you to enjoy. 

Sunday 6th August

Take a Taster Tour of Todmorden Town Hall and explore this fascinating Grade I listed building. (2pm)

Join Calderdale Heritage Walks exploring the ancient township of Warley in their guided walk ‘Mill, Maypole & McCrae’ (2pm)

The Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend continues today too, again from 10am – 5pm.


Have you visited the Piece Hall yet? This amazing building reopened on Yorkshire Day Thursday August 1st and is open Saturday from 8am til late and Sunday from 9am til late. 

And fro Monday, get ready for the return of the fabulous Happy Valley Pride Festival,  celebrating LGBTQ life in Calderdale and loaded with music, art, fun and games over a wide range of venues for the whole family to enjoy.
