Friday 20th April

The 6th annual Hebden Bridge Piano Festival begins, bringing you a magical weekend of piano music. (20th – 22nd April various show times. Tickets vary from FREE to £18)

You become Agatha Christie in this improvised comedy as a classic murder mystery is created on the spot in the ingenious and hilarious show Murder She Didn’t Write at Square Chapel (8pm £14)

Laugh your way into the weekend with Dick & Liddy’s Comedy Club at Victoria Theatre, Halifax (8.30pm Tickets from £11.75)

Embark on a nail-biting journey with classic psychological thriller Gaslight at Hebden Bridge Little Theatre (7.30pm £6-£10)

The first Youth Theatre production of 2018 at The Workshop in Halifax is The Rover, is swashbuckling affair! (7.30pm £8 Doors 7pm)

 

Saturday 21st April

Join members of the Cromwell Bottom Wildlife Group outside the cabin at Cromwell Bottom Local Nature Reserve for a 2-hour Bird Walk & Survey of about 2 miles on easy paths. (9.45am – 11.45am FREE, donations welcome)

Celebrate 15 years of Element Jewellery in Hebden Bridge with their birthday event with 10% off all collections! (10am – 5.30pm)

The Hinchliffe Arms is celebrating St George’s Day  There will be music, dancing, a tug of war competition, Yorkshire pudding throwing championship, stalls, veggie food and a full Dexter beef roast on spit. (From 12 noon all day. FREE to attend).

Celebrate pooches and responsible dog ownership with RSPCA Poochfest at Stainland Recreational Park. There'll be stalls, games, food and drink, 'have a go' Agility and a fun Dog Show! (11am – 3pm FREE, donations welcome)

Enjoy live music at Westgate Arcade in Halifax with Johnny Cash tribute band The Folsom Three and solo artist Nathaniel Lodge. (12 noon – 3pm FREE).

Take a two day Leather Craft 'Satchel' Workshop with leather designer/maker Catherine Edwards at The Artworks Halifax - you will have the opportunity to make your very own A5 Leather Satchel 'Axel Tiny'. (Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm £180)

Roger Davies and His Band bring you new arrangements of his signature songs and brand new material from their forthcoming album at Victoria Theatre, Halifax. (7.30pm £16.75)
