It’s the Landlines & Watermarks Big Weekend featuring Calderland & The People's Fair.
Calderland: A People's Opera is a musical odyssey around the valley’s history and its place-shaping relationship with water, featuring 150-member community choir, orchestra, large-scale video projections and live performance.
(The Piece Hall Halifax, Friday 29th, Saturday 30th & Sunday 1st 1 October 2017 7pm FREE but tickets need to be prebooked).
Laugh your way into the weekend with Dick & Liddy’s Comedy Club at Victoria Theatre Halifax (8.30pm).
Saturday 30th September
Landlines & Watermarks continues with The People's Fair, a family-friendly festival, marketplace and street party with local food, street performances, artists and artisans, voluntary groups, showcases for local talent, parades and processions, market stalls and exhibition. (The Piece Hall Halifax 30th September 2017 - 1st October 2017 11am - 5pm, FREE just turn up and enjoy)

The People’s Fair continues at Piece Hall, Halifax.
If you think Science is boring, think again; The Spectacular Science Show is science like you have never seen before! (Victoria Theatre, Halifax 3pm £11.75)
Enjoy a FREE Taster Tour of Todmorden Town Hall with a focus on Todmorden’s Nobel Prize winners. (2pm)
