Friday 13th July
Tonight at Victoria Theatre Halifax, it’s One Night of Queen - In 2000, Gary Mullen won ITV’s “Stars In Their Eyes” Live Grand Final, with the largest number of votes ever received in the shows history. Gary began formed a band ‘The Works’, to pay tribute to rock legends Queen and has performed throughout the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa and New Zealand to sell-out audiences! (7.30pm £23.75)
Saturday 14th July
It’s the Hebden Bridge Steampunk Weekend; fun and laughter with stalls selling items that delight. Tea duelling, fashion shows and evening entertainment!
You can take part in a Big Butterfly Count - meet Steve Blacksmith and Charlie Streets from Halifax Scientific Society at 10.30am in Cromwell Bottom Local Nature Reserve car park HD6 2RG for a walk around Cromwell Bottom to find and record the butterflies that are living on the reserve.
Halifax’s very own shanty singers The Landlubbers returning to Westgate Arcade. Last time they were a massive hit and are not to be missed! There’s plenty of outdoor seating at La Luna, Noco’s Kiosk, Cinnamon, Deli-cious, and Westgate Wine and Cheese, so book a table and come and enjoy! (12.30pm – 2pm)
Three Valleys Gospel Choir present their Summer Concert at the Central Methodist Church, Todmorden. (7pm-9.30pm £5/£3 concessions. Under 5s Free).
Sunday 15th July
Take a Total Tour of Todmorden Town Hall, including access to the secret spaces, including the former Caretaker’s Flat and holding cell. Total Tours start at 2pm and last approx 2.5 hours. Tours are £6.50 per person and include tea, coffee and biscuits. Tickets can be booked here.
