Meet Hugh Firman and David Sutcliffe from Calderdale Bird Conservation Group at 09.30 in the car park at Jerusalem Farm, near Booth for an approximately 4 mile walk up Wood Lane to Castle Carr lower lodge and return via the big rocks, Cat ‘I th’ Well, Saltonstall and Wade Wood. Target birds – Cuckoo, Redstart, Woodpeckers, Little Owl, warblers and raptors maybe as well as a few waders. Aim to finish around 12.30.
