Popples Cottage is a self-catering cottage located in Bradshaw. It is a charming, south facing stone-built, 180-year-old home, offering accommodation of a high standard and comfort. The cottage itself was originally a farm cottage forming part of Popples, which comprised at one end of an old board school (Popples Academy!), the schoolmaster's house next door and a barn and a farmhouse at the other end of the row.

Popples Cottage is situated within easy reach of local facilities, with a bus stop, post box and general provisions shop nearby. The cottage is close to Haworth and the Moors made famous by the Brontés as well as the Thornton and Queensbury districts of Bradford. It is within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales with its many visitor attractions and Hebden Bridge, the Pennine Centre of the North. In Halifax (3 miles away) there are banks, shops, theatres, bus and train stations, and a selection of superstores. There is also easy access to the motorway network and places further afield such as Leeds, York and Manchester are all well within an hour away.

By Road:
Leave the M62 at either jct 24 or 26 to Halifax. Take A629 Keighley Road towards Denholme, turning right opposite the Causeway Foot pub onto Syke Lane. Continue for 500yds to a small row of shops. Turn right opposite shops onto black-paved driveway, which is Popples. The holiday cottage is number 2, parking opposite.

By Public Transport:
Catch 521 bus from either King Edward Street or Northgate which is 2 minutes walk from bus station or 8 minutes from railway station. The buses run every 10 minutes during the day Monday-Saturday. Ask to be set down at the stop by the steps on School Lane. Opposite the Costcutter shop on your left is a block-paved drive leading up to black stone buildings. Number 2 Popples Cottage is on the left, 20 yards up this driveway.
