Directions

By Road:
Kirk Lea Guesthouse is situated on the A629 with easy access to local towns and villages and the motorway network. There is an excellent public transport service to and from Halifax town centre with its bustling nightlife, theatres and cultural attractions.

From the M62 junction 24, take the A629 towards Halifax. You'll see us on your right hand side by traffic lights, opposite the Royal Calderdale Hospital. From Halifax town centre, take the A629 towards the M62 and Huddersfield and you'll see us on your left.

By Public Transport:
Train: Halifax Railway Station is approximately 1.1 mile away. From the station, catch the number 531 bus in Horton Street, just two minutes walk away, with buses every 30 minutes. Or walk to Halifax Bus Station, approximately 8 minutes walk away. You can walk to Kirk Lea Guesthouse from the railway station in around 25 minutes.

Bus: Take a bus from Halifax town centre and get off at Royal Calderdale Hospital (which'll be on your right hand side). The following buses go past our Guesthouse: 503, 537, 538 and 539

Airport: Leeds Bradford International Airport is only 17.5 miles away. Follow the road directions above.
