DetailsThe cottage is located on the side of the Rochdale Canal in the heart of the beautiful market town of Hebden Bridge. Offering beautiful views, Canal Cottage is centrally located for the many great shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars in Hebden Bridge. The town centre, Calder Holmes Park, Hebden Bridge Picture House, Alteranative Technology Centre, library, Visitor & Canal Centre and other facilities such as banks and a supermarket are all, at most, 5 minutes walk away. Hebden Bridge railway station is 10 minutes walk away.
The approach to Canal Cottage doesn't involve any hills to climb and our cottage is all on one level.
By Public Transport:
Leave Hebden Bridge Railway Station and take a left off the road to walk through Calder Holmes Park. The Rochdale Canal is located to the right of the Park, as you enter it. You can either join th towpath via gates in the fence around the perimeter of the park, or by walking across the park and joining the towpath on its far side. Cross the footbridge over the canal and walk straight on along the towpath heading away from the railway station. Pass the Alternative Technology Centre on your right and Canal Cottage is next door, also on your right.
