A Night Out in Halifax: Bars and Restaurants to visit before a Piece Hall gig.

The much-anticipated summer season at The Piece Hall kicked off with the legendary Blondie hitting the stage and thrilling the crowds to start an amazing  34-night concert series! If you are attending a gig at the Piece Hall it is an experience in itself, but exploring the local bars and restaurants can truly elevate your visit to Halifax.

  • Freddie Fowlers in the Borough Market has extended opening hours serving a £5 menu of Classic Cheese Burger, Spiced BBQ Wings, Samosa Chaat, Sweet Chilli Glazed Halloumi, Sloppy Jo loaded Tortilla Chips and Homemade Meatball Sub’s.
  • Holdsworth House Hotel & Restaurant are offering pre-concert dinner. Monday to Friday 12pm – 5pm you can enjoy a summer menu crafted to offer a variety of light and delicious dishes, perfect for a pre-concert treat.   • The Duke of Wellington you’ll always find a warm welcome at The Duke of Wellington, and a place to enjoy a cosy meal.
  • The Old Cock is one of Halifax’s oldest pubs. Originally Built in 1580, the pub has recently been renovated it offers a wide range of drinks and offers and an outdoor seating.
