A walk with the Ogden Water Wildlife Group and Calderdale Countryside and Woodlands Service to search the woodlands and grasslands for fungi, mushrooms and toadstools. Meet 10am at the Ogden Water classroom, opposite the visitor centre. We will be walking through the woodlands and off the paths so come prepared for uneven surfaces. No unaccompanied children

    On Sunday 2nd July 2017, in the estate of Castle Carr, their famous gravity fed fountain once again rose magnificently into the sky.

    In 2018 in it anticipated that the Rotary Club of Halifax will arrange another walk (Date & Time TBC) and with permission granted by Yorkshire Water and the land owner, it is again hoped the fountain will reach a height of over 100 feet.
